Two Stroke YZ250 and YZ250X Lowering Link

from $145.00

There are several options for the two stroke YZ250 and X. Each YamaLink increases plushness, lowers seat height, and makes the YZ handle better for short AND tall riders. Each YZ lowering link includes a grease zerk.

If you want to lower your YZ250 rear a total of 1.5 inches (40mm) select the TRAIL rocker (looks like a boomerang). We strongly recommend a 20% heavier spring due to the increased leverage of the rocker in order to achieve proper race sag. Not going up in spring rate will result in a bike with too much sag that will bottom and wallow.

If you own a 2006 or newer, and aren’t looking for a true lowering link but more of a performance link, we recommend the RACE YamaLink (it’s the straight piece). The Race link settles the rear the perfect amount to take the edge off braking bumps and square edge, and helps smooth out hardpack ruts.

If you are on the border of needing a heavier spring with the stock setup then we recommend going up 10% in spring rate for the RACE YamaLink. If you are a lightweight then a heavier spring is not required. The Race does not work on a 2005 or older.
